Education in Kendriya Vidyalayas spans over a period of twelve years from I to XII. The examination and courses of study followed upto class VIII (Middle Level) are those prepared by the National Council of Education, Research and Training. From class IX onwards, the scheme of studies prescribed for the 10+2 pattern by the CBSE is adopted in all Kendriya Vidyalayas. The students are prepared for the AISSE(Class X) and AISSCE(Class XII) Exams of the CBSE, New Delhi. The curriculum lays due emphasis on national identity and value education.
